The U.S. Space Program including the Apollo Moon program, and NASA in general, had many positives including: National pride, National security, Ecomonic stimulation, Educational stimulation, New scientific knowledge, especially in planetary science, Technological stimulation. With respect to technological stimulation, specific developments included: Rocket motors, Weather satellites, Communications satellites, Reconnaissance satellites, GPS navigation system, Solar monitoring satellites, Electronic circuit miniaturization, and many, many more detailed technological developments.
