The Tlingit Indians are original people of the Pacific Northwest Coast. They live in southern Alaska and in British Columbia and the Yukon in Canada.
While there is no specific "Genre" for Tlingit Music, Tlingits do use music in traditional dances, ceremonies and celebrations. Songs and chants are frequently accompanied by hand drums.
