First, you draw a circle, then you draw a another circle bigger than the first one. You draw a long rectangle at the bottom of your circles, then you draw ten smaller rectangles which are your carts. Make sure that your first circle goes through your carts. Next is detail. Curve the bottom of each cart. Then you draw tiny bulb shapes and the wire for your decoration. The wire will be just one line and your bulbs will look like ovals with curved points at one end. Then, if you want, you can draw humans in the carts. Trace over your long rectangle at the bottom of your unfinished Ferris Wheel. Don't trace too hard, because you have to draw a thick pole connecting the rectangle and the first circle. Now, draw yet another circle a little smaller than your very first circle to make the first pole of the actual Ferris Wheel. Then, go back to your carts and draw small poles to connect the carts, because you don't want the carts to fall down and kill all of the people inside of them. Now draw two lines next to each other, like, twenty times all over the first and second big circles to connect them. Draw ANOTHER circle smaller than your second big circle that you ever drew on this drawing to make the second round pole. Draw a circle in the very middle and then another around that to make another round pole. Draw lines connecting the first circle to the middle round pole and cover with wire and lights. Now, final step. Erase construction lines and clean up your final drawing, and there, person out of the wind, is your first Ferris Wheel. Now, if only you knew how to draw every other ride, than you'll have a carnival!

ORIGAMI
George Ferris created the first Ferris wheel in 1893 for the Worlds Colombian Exposition in Chicago. There was a challenge to make something greater then the Eiffel Tower. Nobody believed that it could be done, but he did it.
somehow
The best thing to use to make a miniature Ferris wheel would be a hamster wheel. Start by making little swing seats with toothpicks and popsicle sticks. Cut out sections and place the little swing seats in with wire a few spaces apart.
It's a very simple process, in reality. First you need someone willing to make out with you. Second you need a Ferris Wheel. The next part is where things get tricky. You have to take the person you want to make out with on to the Ferris Wheel. It is precisely at this point that you make out as you would in any other public area (preferably, sparingly and unobtrusively). Have fun, you crazy kids.
The axle of a Ferris wheel is the part that the wheel spins around. It is in the center of the whole construction. So when you say Ferris wheel you don't say Ferris wheel and axle, you just say Ferris wheel. ... or the same "why" is when folks say" WOKEN UP (dangling particple...inncorrect use)... instead of the correct word..."Awaken" ... " I was "woken up" (Awakend) by the banging of trash can lids being thrown..."

There are probably some Erector Set kits that would allow you to motorize the hamster wheel. However, without it allowing people - or I suppose, hamsters - to sit in chairs on the outside of the wheel, it would still not quite count as a real Ferris Wheel.
He invented and built it as a landmark for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago.
The braces on some desks at school are congruent (they make the desk able to hold more weight) Sections on a Ferris wheel (the bars that connect to the center pin of the Ferris wheel)
