The Korean War (1950-1953) & The Vietnam War (1961-1975) were "Hot" battles of the "Cold War."
What two wars were fought in the New England colony
Only two wars were fought during the cold war; Korea & Vietnam. Everything else was either an incident, accident, operation, rescue mission, covert, CIA, or it didn't happen situation.
The cold war included no actual combat. It was fought with threats of nuclear warfare. Also fought with "proxy" wars. (Vietnam and Korea) The soviets supported North Korea, and the US supported South Korea. These were wars fought between the two countries through other countries.
They were the Anglo-Powhatan Wars.
In the Persian wars which to civilizations fought in the battle of Plateau
duck wars Italy fought in World War Two..
The cold war itself was just that - a cold war. No men died. The two competing super powers, Soviet Union, and the United States, had nuclear weapons. Neither of them fought directly to avoid destroying the Earth. Instead they fought through proxy wars. Or wars were either side would support one side and then the reverse. These two proxy wars were the Vietnam war and the Korean War. 50,000 men died in the Vietnam War and 33,000 died in the Korean war.
Korea and vietnam
Carthage and Rome.
There were many more than just two, but Korea and Vietnam were the largest and most serious of the Cold War 'skirmishes."
You probably mean "cold war" related wars. The way you've worded this question it could mean "any war", in which case there were probably hundreds of little wars fought on earth from 1945 to 1990. To include: 1. Wars in Africa against White rule (wars against Apartheid). 2. Wars in the Middle East (Southwest Asia) between the Israelis and Arabs. 3. Wars of power struggles else where on the globe; to include insurgencies. There were some communist related cold war battles fought in Greece, Turkey, Central and South America, etc. But the only "big" battles were the two wars fought in Korea and Vietnam that directly related to communism vs the free world.
The two ancient civilizations that always fought in the Punic wars were Rome, located in Italy, and Carthage, located in modern Tunisia.
