They are the little skippers you see in creeks, rivers, etc.. You can see them usually when you go camping at camps like Silver Creek Falls. :)

Crickets need a substrate to lay their eggs in. They probably don't like what you have provided for them. I suggest a glass vial of water with moist cotton sealing the water in. Be careful to watch the vial as it may mold and can be harmful to the crickets.
well at petsmart they have a cricket keeper that houses crickets they also have gutload food for them to eat and for water cut up a sponge dont give them a dish of water they will drown
