SORCERY!
Most writers (and composers - of music) begin their writing career, usually unconsciously, by writing or composing very derivatively from earlier writers or composers they admire. This is accepted as part of the process. But it is not their own "voice". The sooner a writer is encouraged to write in their own unique style, the sooner they will produce works - whether good or not-so-good - that are truly their own voice. Encouraging their individual style is a way of attempting to "eliminate the middle man", as the saying goes.
writing style includes: word choice, sentence fluency ,voice
There are several types of writing styles, including narrative, descriptive, persuasive, expository, and creative. Each style serves a different purpose and uses different techniques to convey the writer's message to the audience. It's important to choose the appropriate style based on the goals and intended audience of the writing.
At its most basic, "style' in writing means two things: 1) the machinery of writing 2) the writer's voice.
Sentences written in the active voice are more direct and concise. They tend to be easier to read and livlier. In contrast, sentences written in the passive voice can sound dull, dry, and stuffy. If you want your writing to interest and engage readers, you should try to use the active voice more than the passive voice.
Language is essential in writing because it allows writers to communicate their ideas effectively to readers. It helps convey tone, voice, and meaning, enhancing the overall impact of the writing. A strong command of language enables writers to engage, persuade, and inspire their audience.
The style of writing is determined by a combination of factors including the writer's voice, tone, vocabulary, sentence structure, and overall use of language. It is influenced by the purpose of the writing, the intended audience, cultural influences, and the writer's individual style and preferences.

Using the active voice rather than passive voice
Creative means you have your own individual style and "voice" when you write. You learn how to be more creative by reading what other writers have written and then trying to write your own material. The more you read and the more you practice, the more original you'll become.
Using the active voice makes sentences clearer, more direct, and easier to understand. It also usually creates a more engaging and dynamic writing style.
Consistency in tone, voice, and language, as well as a distinct aesthetic or formatting choices are recurring attributes of style in writing. These elements help create a cohesive and recognizable voice for the author.
