Postcentral gyrus, or the parietal lobe
[Edit: The postcentral gyrus is posterior to the central sulcus, not anterior. The primary motor cortex is located directly anterior to the central sulcus.]
Hmm. i would belive it is sylvian fissure or the lateral sulcus and then inferior to that you have the temporal lobe. But you also have the primary aiditory area right beside the the inferior end of the central sulcus.
The sensory cortex, or what is also known as the sensory strip.
Frontal lobe
They are called sulci and they allow for a greater surface area of the cortex of the brain which is where the majority of the neurons reside.
Primary motor area
The primary motor area is found in the frontal lobe of the brain.
RIGHT LOBE. Because sensory and motor, both types of fibers cross to apposite side of the brain, in the area behind central sulcus, called as post central gyrus you have sensory area there. In front of the central sulcus, you have a motor area, called pro central gyrus. ( Sensory nerves carry signals to words brain and motor nerves carry sensations away from brain.)
the central sulcus!
Wrong. The motor cortex is the prominent gyrus that is ancterior to the central sulcus. The Somatosensory cortex is the prominent gyrus that is posterior to the central sulcus.
the posterior median sulcus
They are called sulci and they allow for a greater surface area of the cortex of the brain which is where the majority of the neurons reside.
You have motor area in front of the central sulcus. You have sensory area behind the central sulcus. So in this type of bleeding the sensory area is not affected.
central sulcus
the central sulcus
The Coronary Sinus
Primary motor area
The primary motor area is found in the frontal lobe of the brain.
It follows the left part of the coronary sulcus, running first to the left and then to the right, reaching nearly as far as the posterior longitudinal sulcus.
anterior lateral sulcus
Anterior and Posterior Interventricular Sulcus. Sulcus meaning "groove" .
