Druids have three talent trees, with a total of four different kinds of gear.

Balance

Balance druids are casters, and want Intellect, Crit and Haste. On top of that, they want to be Hit-capped in raids, which is 17% chance to hit fully buffed. Balance druids can get a talent to gain Hit from Spirit, so their restoration gear can be used when doing DPS.

Restoration

Restoration druids also want Intellect, but they do not need Hit as they are healers. They also want Spirit, which increases their mana regeneration, Haste and some Crit.

Feral (Cat)

Druids who are feral DPS want to be hit-capped, but this is 8% for melee classes. They prefer Agility and Crit, with Haste increasing their attack speed and energy regeneration. They also will need to reach a total of 26 Expertise, so that their attacks are not dodged when attacking from behind.

Feral (Bear)

Bears are tanks, and their primary stat is Stamina. They also need Agility and Dodge to get hit less often. Critical Strike rating can be useful, as a successful critical attack gives Bears a protective shield. Some Hit and Expertise can be useful to increase threat and to prevent opponents from resisting taunts.
