Any alkali. Toothpaste, NaOH, often found in drain unblockers, baking powder you'll need plenty of baking powder or toothpaste but if you use too much it won't matter as they aren't strong enough to harm you whereas NaOH will if too much is used.

How much baking soda is needed to neutralize the sulfuric acid in a car battery?

6 tablespoons.

Can sulfuric acid neutralize hydrochloric acid?

No, because they are both acids. Sulfuric acid would only undergo an neutralization reaction when it comes in contact with a base (sodium hydroxide, baking soda, etc). When you mix sulfuric with hydrochloric acid, the only thing that would happen is that the sulfuric acid would dehydrate the hydrochloric acid, causing it to release nasty fumes of hydrogen chloride gas.

What is the name of H2SO4 acid?

sulfuric acid or sulphuric acid

Is dilute sulfuric acid a stronger acid compared to concentrated sulfuric acid?

No, although "concentrated" sulfuric acid (essentially pure H2SO4) is less dissociated than dilute sulfuric acid, simply because there's no water around for it to dissociate in.

How do you neutralize sulfuric acid without any gas or heat formation?

You cannot neutralize sulfuric acid without producing some heat. Adding it to a base that does not react to form a gas (such as sodium hydroxide) will prevent the formation of gas. Using dilute solution will produce a smaller temperature increase than concentrated solutions.

What is the chemical reaction when NaHCO3 is used to neutralize the acid from a car battery?

Car battery acid is sulfuric acid H2SO4. The reaction equation is: 2NaHCO3 + H2SO4 --> 2CO2 + 2H2O + Na2SO4 Sodium bicarbonate reacts with sulfuric acid to produce water, carbon dioxide, and sodium sulfate.
