Is land a renewable or nonrenewable resource?

Land is both a renewable resource and a nonrenewable resource. It is renewable because land can be used over and over again. Particularly, in terms of farming, proper care can allow you to ensure that the land continues to be viable. It is non-renewable because there is a limited amount of land. Big cities are a good example. There is only so much space and as the land is built upon, it becomes more valuable because of the scarcity. You can't create more land.Thank you so much for reading my answer. I hope you liked it.

Is wind nonrenewable or renewable?

Usually, the terms renewable and non-renewable describe the result of resources which we use. For example, petroleum is non-renewable because once it is burned, it can not be recycled or returned. Even if large quantities exist, the important aspect is that there is less of the resource after it is consumed. We definitely place more importance on non-renewable resources that in the future may become scarce due to consumption and supply limitations. Land is not directly consumed so we should not classify it as renewable or non-renewable. However, we use land as farms and these in turn plants consume minerals in the earth such as phosphate and potassium. We add fertilizers to the land to replenish these minerals. Natural gas is used in the production of ammonia, used in fertilizers to supply nitrogen. (See link) Since some of the raw materials used in fertilizers are limited, this is a non-renewable resource. I have included a link from a manufacturer who claims to produce a "renewable fertilizer." In the future, we will likely have to switch to fertilizers which use less non-renewable minerals. See links.

Various ways that land can be renewed?

Do you really mean a land? I have never thought about land in these terms. However we now know that over millions of years the shapes of continents do change, and some land is subducted into the earth's mantle whilst in other areas new land emerges. So I suppose land can be considered renewable, but it is over geological time eras so hardly useful to mankind. Yes they meant a land. land can be a renewable and nonrenewable resource because you can use it over and over again if you taken good care of it, and land can also be a nonrenewable resource because of the damages it might have, like chemical pollution, acidic rain... etc

What is good about nonrenewable energy?

Nonrenewable energy sources are more reliable, having higher efficiency, and less land consuming.

Why is sand nonrenewable?

A nonrenewable resource is basically any resource that can be depleted. Sand, for use in making goods such as glass in concrete, is nonrenewable because once these products are made, the sand used cannot be cycled or brought back to its originally form, and sand is not continuously produced by the earth. Examples of renewable material resources are agricultural products, if sustainable farming techniques are practiced, because you can always continue gaining these products off of the land every year. Water can also be considered a renewable resource, but only if used carefully. This is because, ideally, you will use the water, but it will eventually evaporate, than precipitate, then replenish the water source that you originally used.
