Peasants in feudalism often faced heavy taxation, forced labor obligations, and limited rights to own or inherit property. They had little control over their own lives, were susceptible to abuse by their lords, and lived in constant fear of losing their land or livelihood. Additionally, life for peasants was characterized by poverty, insecurity, and dependency on the whims of their feudal overlords.
