The astronauts of Apollo 16 are David Scott and James Irwin.
A total of 12 astronauts have been to the moon, from Apollo 11,12, 14, 15, 16, 17.And they were all Americans and men only to walk on the moon.
they were there from July 16 to July 24, 1969
Different astronauts took different food to the moon depending on their dietary and nutritional needs. All the food taken to space during Apollo was freeze dried. The astronaut had to reconstitute the food with hot water in order to eat their meal. The Apollo 16 astronauts took extra Tang to the moon to combat the potassium deficiencies encountered by the Apollo 15 astronauts.
On the first manned lunar landing, in the lander Eagle on July 20, 1969, there were two astronauts: Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin. They became the first and second men to walk on the Moon. The five following missions (Apollo 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17) likewise included landing teams of two astronauts.
The lunar rover was a vehicle that was used for Apollo 15, 16. and 17. They were used to transport the astronauts across the lunar surface. They remain on the moon today.

Three astronauts never landed on the Moon at the same time, 2 landed on the Moon and 1 stayed in the spaceship. Also, what mission are you talking about- Apollo 11, 12,* 14, 15, 16, or 17? If you mean Apollo 11 then its 1969. *Apollo 13 never made it to the moon.

Just one that I know of: Charlie Duke, from Apollo 16. Jim Lovell from Apollo 13 is left handed, and he was supposed to walk on the moon, but of course that mission was aborted. I read on a 'left handed site' somewhere that 4 of the 12 men who actually walked on the Moon were left handed.
Apollo 11, 12, 14 , 15, 16 and 17 were successful missions to the moon.

The 6 missions were all in different places on the moon. Apollo 11 - The Sea of Tranquility Apollo 12 - The Ocean of Storms Apollo 14 - Fra Mauro Apollo 15 - Hadley Appenine Apollo 16 - Descarte Highlands Apollo 17 - Tarus Littrow
Every Apollo mission had astronauts walking on the moon.
