Johannes Kepler discovered the 3 laws of planetary motion.
probably shortly after newton discovered gravity and its effect on matter, on the other hand this is a SWAG

The purpose of these laws are to know that we have them. If Newton never discovered these laws then scientists today would still be observing them incorrectly. Newton was very important to our world. If scientists today kept studying them they way they are then we might not be correct with our history. Newton changed the way scientists studied the laws of motion.
It was found to be more fundamental than the other laws. It should therefore be the first law, but at that time, renumbering all the laws was deemed impractical, since the terms "First Law" and "Second Law" were already well-established.
Johannes KeplerHis first two laws were published in Astronomia Nova(The New Astronomy) in 1609. His Third Law was published in 1618, in book five of his Harmonices Mundi (The Harmonies of the World.)
Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727), English mathematician and physicist.
No. Kepler discovered the laws using Tycho Brahe's data.

The first piece of wreckage spotted by the crew that discovered her was a boiler.
Apparently It was first found on the 3 Aug 2010.
Caroline Herschel was the first professionaal female astronomer. She assisted here brother William in the discovery of Uranus and the cataloguing of 1000s of nebulae and galaxies and discovered several comets of her own.
Newton discovered friction along with most other forces like gravity. he also invented the 3 laws of motion and if he didn't know about friction he couldn't have invented the laws. Agent Wolf
