lions, other strange hyenas, and hunting dogs
It is difficult to provide an exact number of fatalities caused by hyenas each year as these incidents are rare and not always accurately reported. Hyenas are known to occasionally attack humans, but such attacks are relatively uncommon compared to other wildlife threats. It is important to take necessary precautions when in areas where hyenas are present.
Actually spotted hyenas and lions are actually mortal enemies because they are in direct competition for resources. Leopards are less dangerous to spootted hyenas because their solitary nature limits their ability to prove a serious threat to a clan of hyenas. The more solitary brown or striped hyenas may be more susceptible to Leopard attacks.
no hyenas are not ugly

Female hyenas
hyenas are related to dogs

The collective nouns for hyenas are:a clan of hyenasa cackle of hyenas
Hyenas are killed by lions more than lions killed by hyenas because lions are more powerful than hyenas, lions are bigger than hyenas and have more control over hyenas. but it is said that hyeans killed lions too.
I'm not entirely sure but I can imagine them to be much like dogs - if you threaten them, they will defend themselves by attacking you. Maybe if you hang around them and they see you as a threat, they would attack you. Dogs are direct descendents of hyenas, so you would expect them to behave in the same way. Hope I have helped.
