∙ 13y agoIf you are preparing for a job interview and want to be ready for this question you will need to find out as much as you can about the organization you want to work for.
Find their website if possible and go through every link on it.
Look for the things they're clearly proudest of, or are trying to bring to viewers' attention.
List those things that most interest you - choosing what quickly takes your attention means you'll remember them better at your interview - and think about them. Do some research online, and make notes. You might be surprised by how much you learn
When you are asked the question, 'Why are you interested in our organization?' you'll have learned quite a lot about what really does interest you about the organization, and you'll be able to talk intelligently and honestly about the subject.
Be ready for questions like: 'You're interested in our product, XYZ; how much do you know about it?', or 'Do you know what it's most used for?', or 'Would you like to own one?', and so on. Think of the sort of things you'd ask, in the circumstances.
If the organization doesn't have a website, get as much information about them as possible. For example, find out what products they make, or sell, and go to stores and ask about the products; check them out. If they aren't selling anything, find out all you can about what they do. You could get someone to call in at their premises and look around, maybe pick up some leaflets.
