I'm not completely sure on this being "the band with the most songs" but Frank Zappa (and, until 1975's one size fits all, the movers of invention) had released (he had so much unreleased material it's unbelievable, in fact he still has unreleased material) almost 60 before he died, as amazing as this is, there were NO dogie albums of less than 10 minute (or whatever, you know what I mean), in fact most of his albums were double, or even triple albums. His first album (freak out!) was the 2nd ever double album (the first being Bob Dylan's "Blonde on Blonde", although some people still disagree, also, Dylan could be a candidate for "most songs" but that's another subject).
Cressida was an English rock band. Two of their most famous songs were Asylum and Munich. They released two albums with a total of 20 different songs.
