Try a video game- many stores have bins with games for under $20. A DVD of a movie will be less that $22 usually, and some stores (such as Wal-Mart) have specials with 2 movies for $11. If the boy is interested in art, you could buy a sketchbook and set of pencils or watercolors at a local art store. Also a gift certificate to a CD warehouse or the local mall would also be nice (but make the amount $20, not $22)
