5w20, which is hard to find sometimes--I had to visit three different auto parts stores to find it. (I changed my oil on the Sunday before Memorial Day, which had a lot to do with it--a lot of people change their oil over Memorial Day weekend to prepare for summer driving.) Since it's a 2008 I wouldn't put synthetic in it yet--synthetic is too slick to give you a good break-in.
