What if your C reactive protein was 19 you are only 29 and have been waking up with headaches and have had blood in your stool what does this mean?

The most common causes of an elevated CRP is infection and inflammation. Elevated CRP can also be caused by auto immune diseases like Crohns disease (its an inflammatory disease and can raise CRP levels). Symptoms of Crohns disease include: diarrhea, blood in the stool, abdominal pain and cramping, fatigue, weight loss and ulcers. Talk to your doctor about your symptoms since you may need further tests to find out what is causing your elevated CRP.

What is the connection between Psoriasis and auto immune?

From eHealthMD:Evidence from recent research studies strongly suggests that psoriasis is a disorder of the immune system. Normally, the immune system defends the body from infection by bacteria, viruses, and other invaders. Sometimes, however, the immune system makes a mistake and attacks the cells, tissues, and organs of a person's own body. When this happens, the resulting disease is called an autoimmune disease. Many autoimmune diseases run in families. The theory that psoriasis is an autoimmune disease is based on the fact that scientists have found abnormally large numbers of T cells (a type of white blood cell) in the red, flaky skin patches of people with psoriasis. T cells are the infantry of the immune system. When the body senses a need to defend itself against infection, it first makes and then releases millions of T cells to fight off the invaders. Some t cells are normally found in skin. The presence of abnormally large numbers of T cells in skin affected by psoriasis suggests that the immune system is attacking the skin by mistake.(http://www.ehealthmd.com/library/psoriasis/pso_causes.html)

Why do you need vaccines?

We need vaccines to protect us from infectious diseases and to trigger the immune system to respond with production of antibodies made for that specific pathogen. See the related questions for more details of how this works.

I have had my blood tested for inflammation in my bones and the reults have come back as 28 what does this mean?

Blood tests can't specifically check for "inflammation in your bones." No information can be given about a result of "28" without the name of the test. Inflammation is often measured with a blood test called a CRP (C-reactive proteins). A high for CRP tests is around a 3. This can be caused by any number of things; heart disease, arthritis, tumors, auto-immune disease, or just fighting off a bad cold. A 28 would be out of range for this test though. It might have been a 2.8 if that was the test that was done. It sounds like you need to contact your doctor to confirm your results, and discuss what they might mean.
