I am going to suggest that you DO NOT interchange parts that control your safety in a vehicle. Calipers are not that expensive. Just get the ones you need.

Since you didn't say if you have the 4 or 6 cylinder I'm guessing you have the 6. So 5w-30 should get you by. Synthetic Mobil 1 is strongly recommended by Ford.
