congress
To my knowledge it must be the Judicial Branch because the judicial branch carries the Supreme Court and their ones who decides if a law is constitutional.
Indirectly, as it says that "The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes . . ."
The voters who elect the representatives and the Judicial Branch of government who must ultimately decide on the legality of the powers.
Must be 30 years old, a natural born citizen, and do taxes and make laws. Also have to check on the congress and president to make sure no branch has more power.
The branch of government responsible for raising money through taxes is the legislative branch. In the United States, this is primarily the Congress, which consists of the House of Representatives and the Senate. The House of Representatives has the specific power to initiate revenue-related bills, including those concerning taxes. Once proposed, any tax legislation must be approved by both chambers of Congress and then signed by the President to become law.
Citizens must pay taxes and must collect taxes.
Citizens must pay taxes and must collect taxes.
you must pay taxes
The judge.
Yes everybody must pay taxes.
False. The constitution states that the government has to power to tax citizens, but it does not state clearly that those citizens must pay the taxes. It also goes on to state "Duties, Impost and Excise". It dose not state to place any direct taxes upon the citizens, that constitutes "involuntary servitude" (SLAVERY) clearly in conflict with the United States Constitution.
Every year by April 15, Americans must file their federal income tax returns with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This involves reporting their income, deductions, and credits for the previous tax year. If they owe taxes, payment is also due by this date to avoid penalties and interest. Some individuals may qualify for an extension, but they still need to estimate and pay any taxes owed by the deadline.
