∙ 12y agoGive hamsters a good variety, mix in some good seeds, like sunflower, pumpkin, and wheat seeds. You can get those seed packs at pet stores. But also be sure to put pellets in the mix to, because it can keep the immune system balanced, and it wears down their teeth.

Pork ham is usually quite salty so before you feed that to your hamster wash it with cold tap water. It should taste plain and succulent. Turkey and chicken ham has the occasional pepper seasoning on the edges or the middle. Again, wash this type of ham thoroughly cold tap water.
