Toshiba is a good brand from what I've seen...the most complaints I've heard came from Acer...Asus is a ok brand except I've heard it can be tough to get them to honor warrenty. Alienware and Dell are also good brands. It really depends on what you want the laptop for (gaming, work, basic Surfing) and how much you're willing to pay

∙ 12y agoThere are five brands that I can think of whenever I hear the word laptop, Apple/Mac, Dell, Sony, Toshiba, and Lenovo. In the internet there are different statistics and reviews but these 5 brands are consistent in the list. Buying a lap top would still depend on who is using it and how much is he or she willing to spend, and what is the purpose of buying a lap top.
