Upon researching to find what brands of sardines are wild caught it appears that all brands are wild caught sardines. Further research provided no evidence that these fish are farmed so any store brand would be wild caught. These brands will vary between countries.
NOT 'processed' ones ! If you get them fresh from a fish-monger they're fine - BUT - do NOT feed them sardines from a can !

There really is no competitor to LIGO Sardines, as I haven't found any brand that is even close to being as good or as of high quality. -Many brands available, and some may be lower priced, but none as good.
Sardines are sea water fish and would not have been found in the Sea of Galilee, which is an inland (fresh water) lake. There are, however, plenty of edible fish in the Galilee.
