'Pony' isn't one breed, it's LOTS of breeds! Shetland, Welsh Mountain, Dales Falabella- and that's only a few! A pony is a horse that is under 14.2 hands. A hand is what is used to measure horses. One hand is four inches high. Horses are measured at the withers. Hope this is helpful!

it would depend on what breed the horse/pony is, for example, a heavy horse breed will in most occasions be heavier than a pony but with a light weight horse breed there will be some pony breeds that are heavier. hope that helped :)
