Depending on the type of racing (there are many), for the jockey style (regular horse) races the Thoroughbred is normally used, but Araians are also seen.
I disagree with that! My family has a big part in what you call "Jockey Style"! Arabians are not used because what you call "Jockey Style" It is actually Thoroughbred Racing and only accepts Thoroughbreds!
***I don't care how large a part your family plays in "Jockey Style." Though it isn't as well known, it is a fact that Arabians race, right here in the united states. Check out www.arabianracing.org among others. And it isn't surprising that we race Arabians either, since the entire Thoroughbred breed is descended from 3 Arabian stallions and English mares. Arabians are the "original" race horse.***Rocky Mountain Ponies
There is no best breed. It depends on your taste and what you want to use the horse for, eg. use a Thoroughbred for racing, use a draft horse for draft. American Mustangs are very populare and good in almost anything. But the best horse is just an opinion unless your talking about Uts, then on Roan, some of the best horses belong to ScarletChick, and more players
Aluminum horse shoes are mostly used for Thoroughbred Horse racing.
To breed mares using Artificial Insemination techniques.
They go by type not breed. if the horse is of the right type they will use it no matter the breed.
It REALLY depends on what you plan to use the horse for.
This really depends on the breed, location and use of the horse. Good trainers put in a LOT of hours. Way more than 40 hr per week during show and racing seasons.
A Cattle Ranch normally use Mustang or Quater Horses. But it can vary, depending on the breed with agility and speed. If a breeding ranch- normally the owner decided a particular horse breed to use.
horse racing was probably the first sport to use the term triple crown. obviously, this term is used in other sports such as baseball, but it originated from horse racing.
Quarter horses do tend to be the best for barrel racing but Arabians are deferentially not suited for it. You can really use any horse for barrel racing but it is SUPER IMPORTANT that you make sure they have the right body build and athletic abilities to preform the task. Arabians typically don't fit the needs. I am a barrel racer myself so please take this advice.
Andalusians are usually the breed that they would use for the police services they would also use them to guard certain monuments and buildings
I would say it is the breed they themselves founded in 1989, the Azteca. It is a cross between the Andalusion and the American Quarter Horse (although this breed has been around quite a bit longer than that). It's a wonderful pleasure horse, and very athletic and versatile. Also the Thoroughbred is very popular, for racing, of course, and might even outnumber the Azteca. I will reserch this at a later time. Many other breeds are available in Mexico, depending on each individual's choice as to what their intended use for the animal will be. Always consider your intended use for any horse, BEFORE you buy it.
