Although for it's size the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a very strong breed, the Japanese Akita has much more size and weight so is undoubtedly stronger. However, if the Staffordshire Bull Terrier was the same size as an Akita, then the Staffordshire Bull Terrier would likely be strongest. Both of these breeds are very powerful.

Well, this question is like 'How to shih tzu and pekingeses' tails curl when they are straight as a puppy.' Many breeds do that.

The akita can outrun an adult lion...... I don't know about the preceding point but it seems highly unlikely, my Akita can outrun any human (obviously!) but compared to other dogs is probably one of the slower breeds; heavy muscle and bone does not a fast dog make. My friend owns a deer hound and a lurcher and my sister owns a mini-spitz, all 3 make my Akita look very slow indeed.
The scientific name for the American Akita is Canis lupus familiaris.
The average lifespan of Akita is around 10 to 13 years. Akita has a similar lifespan to other large size breeds such as German Shepherd and Golden Retriever. ... Large size dog breeds like Akita usually live shorter because of more genetic disorders and early aging. They aged more quickly than small size breeds.
