A lot of dogs are scared of guinea pigs. I currently have a guinea pig and a Labrador Retriever and they both get along fine. Hope this helps!
I have a miniature schnauzer who's best friend is my guinea pig. He is very protective over it, and won't let other dogs near it.
All I know is that my dog licks my guinea pig's toes when she has her paws up on her cage!
So, my dog and guinea pig get along great!
Sometimes they can get on really well; but if you are going to introduce them for the first time, make sure that the dog can't get to the guinea pig but can see him.
I would sugest a small breed like a Chihuahua or mabe even a Dashund but if the two are brought up together or are introduced from a distance all breeds should be good.
The weird kind..
yes a guinea pig has been into space along with a monkey and a dog.
It depends on the dog and how it acts with others
Dogs and guinea pigs usually don't get along well as in the wild the guinea pig is usually preyed upon by animals such as a wild dog. you should keep the guinea pigs away separate from your dogs. There have been times however when a dog and a guinea pig do get along well.
you should never put a guinea pig with a chinchilla
it is called A Guinea pig I think but I do have a Guinea pig
no not really. a dog is funner, and guinea pigs dont do much
Spend time with your guinea pig everyday , etc, grooming, rubbing , ...and so on .
no
Because dogs find guinea pigs a tasty little bite between meals. It might be possible to befriend dogs and Guinea pigs such that the dog won't harm the Guinea pig, and the Guinea pig isn't scared of the dog, but this would be the exception. The norm is that a dog will view a Guinea pig as a source of food, an expression of love not always fully appreciated by the Guinea pig.
it really depends on the guinea pig, some get along fine with friends some don't
I am not sure but i do no that a cat can attack a guinea pig and so can dogs so it is better not to buy a guinea pig if u have a cat or dog.
If the guinea pig is not bleeding its okey but if it is then see your vet asap.
