it is not truly known who the dobermans ancestors were, but it is thought that a Rottweiler, Great dane, Pinscher, Manchester Terrier and Old German Sheepdog (which is now extinct) made up this breed. There are also many unknown breeds within the doberman. As Louis Doberman ran a local pound he had access to many dog breeds, some of which were probably mongrels themselves, he developed a breed that suited his needs perfectly, as for how he got there, no one knows
No, a German Shepherd cross Rottweiler does not make a Dobermann, it makes a mixed breed. A Dobermann (or Doberman Pinscher) is a purebred and fully Kennel Club recognised breed, but may have been originally developed using the Rottweiler. Two purebred Dogs of different breeds mated together will not create a purebred, although some people claim to have created ''Designer'' breeds such as Labradoodles and Cockerpoos.

Dachshund, Dalmatian, Doberman pinscher and Dogue de Bordeaux are dog breeds. They are recognized by the American Kennel Club.
kind of hard to say on this one, both breeds are strong in they own way, the doberman may be a lil taller doh, don,t be fool by how the doberman body is slim, cause these dogs are very very strong, and so is the bullmastiff, if you ask me, i would say a tie.
