Is there a bus on gunhill and Jerome ave going to cross county mall
The Edenwald Branch is located at 1255 East 233rd Street in Bronx, New York.
i ve lived in yonkers my whole life.. going north it is Manhattan, the Bronx and then yonkers,,,so it is about 15 mi nutes out of Manhattan to the southern end of yonkers...easily accessible via major roadways.
The correct phrase is "Yonkers is closer to the Bronx."
If you are referring to the Edenwald Library (located at 1255 East 233rd Street, at DeReimer Ave., Bronx, NY), then the operating hours for Saturday are from 10AM to 5PM.
The address 26 Federal Plaza is at the southeast corner of Worth Street and Broadway.Coming from 233rd Street in the Bronx, there are two stations you can start out from: the Eastchester-Dyer Avenue station (at East 233rd Street) on the 5 train, and the 233rd Street station (at White Plains Road) on the 2 and 5trains.If the Eastchester-Dyer Avenue station is closest to you, then take the Downtown 5 train to Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall in Manhattan.Depending on which exit you use, you may exit the subway at the corner of Chambers and Centre Streets, at the northeast corner of City Hall Park, OR, you may exit at the next block up, at the corner of Reade and Centre Streets.Walk 2 blocks west on Chambers Street (across City Hall Park) to Broadway. Or, walk 2 blocks west on Reade Street (in the same direction as traffic) to Broadway. Turn right, and walk 3 or 4 blocks north on Broadway to Worth Street. If the 233rd Street station is closest, and if you are traveling during the morning rush hour, then you can also take the 5train. This station is part of the 5 train's rush hour extension route. The Manhattan-bound 5 train stops there only during the morning rush hour, and the Bronx-bound 5train stops there only during the evening rush hour.If you are not traveling during the morning rush hour, then take the Downtown 2 train from 233rd Street to Chambers Street (at West Broadway) in Manhattan. Walk 2 blocks east on Chambers Street to Broadway (West Broadway ---> Church Street ---> Broadway). Then turn left onto Broadway, and walk 4 blocks north on Broadway to Worth Street.
Bronx is a county
Westchester is directly north of The Bronx. If you continue heading north in The Bronx, you will end up in Westchester. The Bronx is one of the five boroughs of New York City (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Staten Island). Westchester County is part of New York State, but NOT part of New York City. Westchester is upstate of New York City, but it is still very close to the southern tip of New York State. Nobody besides New York City residents would ever call Westchester "upstate."
If you can afford too, stay in Manhattan. If you are familiar with the Bronx, then you can stay in any hotel / motel in the northern part of the Bronx. If you don't want to stay in the Bronx but want to stay close by, then I would suggest staying in Yonkers. 15-20 min ride to the Bronx from Yonkers.
Bronx County Courthouse was created in 1934.
