There are many objections that people have to the Christian gospel, so this answer will deal with three specific objections found in the related question. It does not deal with communicating the gospel to those who do not question the gospel, but to those who do.

There is no objective evidence that God exists

The best way to deal with this objection is to find some way to prove that God exists. A secondary option is to demonstrate that whether or not God exists is not important to the Christian message.

Much of the Old Testament clearly consists of myth and legend

The Christian gospel can not be well communicated by attempting to disprove these objections. Origen, for example, made his point very clearly. The way to deal with this objection is to accept the truth of the objections and try to make a case that does not rely on the infallibility of the Bible.

The New Testament is not as provable as once claimed

Some liberal theologians have already begun to address this issue. For example, some publicly accept that the resurrection of Jesus might not have happened as described in the Bible. If the intention is to communicate the Christian gospel to those who realise that the New Testament gospels are not necessarily factual or historical, then the gospel must be communicated in a new way. Bishop Spong is strongly criticised as a traitor to his vows, but he does have the courage to try to communicate the gospel honestly, knowing that a literal interpretation of the New Testament can always be challenged.

Three further reasons posted on the same related question

Pride

"he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain."

This contains the way to address the objection, if in fact it is valid: "From such withdraw yourself"

Greed

This is saying that the Christian gospel is, or was, rejected because people are unwilling to give up all their worldly possessions to become Christians. In terms of genuinely communicating the Christian gospel, do you think that is really true. Do Christians actually give up all they own before they can be Christians. Do they even donate more to worthy causes than do those who do not accept the Christian gospel? Bill Gates, the richest man in the United States, is an atheist. Warren Buffett is an agnostic. They are also major philanthropists.

Ignorance

Belligerent preaching is not the way to deal with this. I believe that in Western society, everyone knows the basics of the Christian message. Simply be open to provide more information about Christianity if it is sought. Be willing to learn about other faiths. The first step was the willingness to learn why so many reject the Christian gospel.

Another viewpoint:

People all have different backgrounds, so when they learn about BIBLE teachings, 'objections' are bound to come up. Remembering that it's not up to a Christian to MAKE sheep...just to FIND them...takes some of the burden off. GOD is the one who will make it grow, or not, depending on the recipients attitude (1 Corinthians 3:6-7).

Our job, as Christians, is to

1. Believe what we're teaching (Deuteronomy 6:6)(John 17:17) and make sure our lives are in harmony with what we teach (2 Timothy 2:15; Titus 1:9) (Proverbs 2:1-6)(1 Timothy 4:16)

2. Preach with mildness and deep respect (2 Timothy 2:25)

**Always ready to make a defense for our faith(1 Pet. 3:15)

**Always treating people as YOU would like to be treated(Matthew 7:12)

**Always showing LOVE (the identifying mark of true Christianity(John 13:35) Colossians 3:14.

3. Teach everything Jesus told us to teach(Matthew 28:19+20),(Matthew 24:14)and go on improving in the 'art of teaching'(2 Timothy 4:2)

Answer:As a Christian it would be most beneficial to learn about Christian apologetics. Apologetics is the reasoned defense of the Christian faith (not apologizing for it). Just as good attorneys defend their clients in courts of law by presenting solid evidence and solid reasoning, so too apologetics defends the truth of Christianity through well reasoned answers to the questions of skeptics and seekers alike. As an apologist, it is crucial that you be familiar with the pillars on which the Christian faith is founded; namely, that God created the universe, that Jesus Christ demonstrated He is God through the immutable fact of His resurrection, and that the Bible is demonstrably divine rather than human in origin. Apologetics is necessary for the preservation of the faith. Not only must the church defend against objections from without, it must also guard against false teachings within. Apologist need to be familiar with questions such as: Do faith and reason conflict? Does God exist? Is the Bible a myth? How can God allow evil to exist? Was Jesus more than a man? Is there life after death? Are miracles possible? Was Jesus raised from the dead? Is Christianity the only true religion? Why creation instead of evolution? Is the Bible historically reliable? Was Christ divine? What about heaven and hell? What is objective truth? As it stands now, the liberal professors in our universities are dominating this discussion and subverting the Christian faith. As a Christian you should be prepared to answer any one of their questions and the objections to them with a well reasoned biblical response. A:Presumably the objections are one that bring into doubt the truth of Christianity and its God. Those are not easy objections to address, especially in modern times with a better educated and better informed audience that will see through shallow or ill-considered claims. Nor is it possible, as in earlier times, to rely on threats of eternal damnation, as you first must get non=believers to accept the fundamentals of your message. Equally, trite and formulaic references to love can no doubt make Christians feel better but make no difference in persuading thinking non-believers.

Sometimes you will have no choice but to acknowledge the validity of objections, or in other cases admit that you simply do not know. It is wonderful what a little honesty can achieve, when the alternative is transparently dishonest assertions.

Ultimately, the Christian gospel is about faith, the belief in something you can never prove. You can communicate your faith and leave it to your audience as to whether faith is enough.

A:

You need to think about your question a bit. What is meant by 'the objection?'

This could be any argument against any aspect of christian faith, so it is not answerable.

The second part of this question is clear 'What can christians do to better communicate the gospel?' The simple answer is to love each other more, much much more. To lay down their lives for each other, and in doing so be set free from selfishness, greed, lust, ambition and so on. However the outworking of this is very difficult and that is why the church as a community often doesn't really seem very related to the gospel at all. However it is trying and in many place does form an amazing witness. It is often persecuted for doing so.

A:People have to see that they have a need. One day they will stand before God and God will judge them. If they have accepted Christ's death as payment for their disobedience then they will go to everlasting live. All other people will go to everlasting death. The Bible is clear on this:

1Jn 5:11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

1Jn 5:12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

In Acts 24:24 Paul is talking to Felix. Notice the things that Paul talks about: self control righteousness and judgment.

Paul talks about self control because people don't have self control they are controlled by their selfish desires - their sin nature.

Paul talks about righteousness because before God man is not righteous, man does not have a right relationship with God. Rom 3:22,23

Paul talks about judgment because one day God willjudge the earth. Rom 2:16

These three things are the needs of man that are met by the gospel.

Through the gospel a person is put right with God - into a right relationship with God.

Through the gospel a person can be spirit controlled not controlled by the self. (God gives the believer His Holy Spirit when they believe).

Through the gospel a person can be saved from the coming judgment.

Notice in verse 25 Felix was afraid, he was convicted of his sin, the Holy Spirit was working in his heart.

That's all a person has to do - tell people about their broken relationship with God and explain how God has made it possible for a person to be right with Him, the holy Spirit will do the rest.

A:

Jehovah's Witnesses as Christians visit people in their homes to help them one-on-one. This has helped millions of people here-&-there to conform better to the gospel message.

Other religions could initiate a similar program among themselves. Jehovah's Witnesses provide FREE training in this ministry to anyone interested. Then they are free to leave and take with them the methods they learned, and implement them in their own religion. Perhaps they can even improve on what they've learned.

They might begin by all of them getting on the same page in "knowing and understanding what the gospel [good news] is."

"...Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND: repent ye, and BELIEVE THE GOSPEL." (Mark 1:14-15)

They could begin by preaching the "message" [gospel; good news] that Jesus preached -- that the days of man's governments are numbered, and Jesus Christ is the future King of God's Government that He will establish on earth.

They could start there, preach Jesus' message, instead of telling stories "about" Jesus.

The trouble with the True gospel when it is finally preached [by the Two Witnesses - Rev.11], however, is that, whenever it is rarely preached, few people believe it... and the governments of the world hate it.

"Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted [persecuted], and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated OF ALL NATIONS for My name's sake." (Matt.24:9)

Besides... it's not so much a decision for the hundreds of divided denominations of modern professing Christians to make... but the timing of God's plan:

"And THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM shall be preached IN ALL THE WORLD for a witness unto ALL NATIONS; and THEN SHALL THE END COME." (Matt.24:14)

The True gospel of the Kingdom is slated to be preached at the END of man's rule on earth -- just before Jesus returns with it; DURING THE PROPHESIED GREAT TRIBULATION, when the Two Witnesses testify to it for their allotted 3 1/2 years.

"...The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever." (Rev.11:15)

When the message of the True Gospel of the Kingdom is finally preached [most freely by the Two Witnesses, who will have Divine protection to do it for the duration of their tesimony - Rev.11:3-7] to all the nations on earth... it will mark a major upswing in the persecution [and 'open season'] on all those who dare to profess Jesus' Righteous name.

Until then, hundreds of different "gospels" will be spread here and there by the false Christianity Jesus warned us to expect:

"For many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many." (Matt.24:5)

Why do Christians take Matthew's Gospel literally?

First and foremost, many Christians still believe that the Gospel of Matthew was actually written by the disciple, Matthew. They believe that as an eyewitness, Matthew was well placed to write down what really happened in the life and mission of Jesus.Even when Christians are aware that Matthew was originally anonymous and only speculatively attributed to the apostle Matthew later in the second century, they realise that it was largely based on Mark's Gospel and the 'Q' document. They believe that Mark's Gospel is literally true and that Q faithfully records further sayings spoken by Jesus, so therefore Matthew can also be read literally. However some Christians recognise that the nativity story in Matthew is not literally true and that, at least in this instance, the author was writing Christian midrash.
