.38 Special p cases?
The cases were originally loaded with higher pressure, higher velocity loads for the 38 Special revolvers. Not to be used in older revolvers chambered for the .38 Special cartridge.
How many types of revolvers are there?
Single action, double action, double action only. There have been automatic revolvers (the Webley-Fosberry) There have been ball-and-cap revolvers, and even one flintlock revolver (did not work well) There have been tip up revolvers, top break revolvers, and swing-out cylinder revolvers. There was one revolver made to shoot triangular bullets, and some to shoot shotgun shells. There have been revolvers with 2, 3, or MANY barrels. There have been 4 shot, 5 shot, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12- or more- shot revolvers. There were revolvers that loaded from the front, the bottom, and the rear. All in all, there are probably several HUNDRED different types of revolvers.

Should you use a revolver in an airsoft war?
yes because there rely able and are really good. i sugguest the 6 inch or 8 inch revolvers and if you chose green gas revolvers just know that they are only 3 pounds heavy compared to a spring loaded revolver which is much much heavier then green gassed guns. the only down falls are the mag. rounds in total which are 6 (duh) but if your using it in a airsoft war then you should already know this and the spring loaded ones are alot stronger then the green gassed guns (not fps wise tho) but the green gassed ones break easier then the spring loaded guns.
How can one tell if a gun is loaded?
Depending on the gun, there are different ways to determine if it is loaded or not. In some instances, such as with automatics, it may be difficult to know if there is a round in the chamber. Other automatics have an indicator that sticks out or pops up to indicate if there is a chambered round. For revolvers, it may be possible to see the rounds in each of the chambers, with the exception of the one that is behind the barrel. However, the first rule of gun safety is to assume the gun is loaded.

Can you still purchase ammo for a 32cal forehand arms company revolver If so what brands are available?
There are dozens of brands of .32 S&W cartridges, but I would strongly suggest that you have your revolver examined by a gunsmith that has knowledge of older revolvers before shooting ANYTHING in it. Early .32 revolvers (including some of the Forehand & Wadsworth guns) were made for BLACK POWDER cartridges- and while the .32 S&W is not a powerhouse of a cartridge, some of the older revolvers were not meant to use modern ammunition which is loaded with smokeless powder, and has much higher pressures.
