one shot maby 750 fps with two shots maby 650 fps by Daniel hobbs
Rodents
Rodents and small game.
750 fps. for BBs, 665 fps. for pellets.
With the draconian UK laws, any legal - non FAC - air rifle will not exceed 750 fps. With 11 ft/lbs and a pellet weight of 28g will give a velocity of around 420 fps. A FAC rifle with 40 ft/lbs and a pellet weight of 28g will give a velocity of around 800 fps. The .22 FAC Theoban MFR will produce 28 ft/lbs which equates to only 671 fps. So even if you have an FAC certificate, the chances of finding a rifle with at least 35 fps is slim, but not impossible.
I assume that you are asking about a PCP class rifle. It will kill just about anything you can hit. But I would stay away from Elephants and Bears. A head shot is preferred.
Normally a 600-700 fps air rifle will kill a rabbit at around 30-40 yards away. So this will include a .22 caliber air rifle or if your looking for something with less power that will just kill birds, try looking for a .177 or .20 caliber air rifle but if you are looking to hunt game like rabbits go for .22
I doubt it.
Hatsan is currently made in Turkey. They make this rifle in both .177 and .22 caliber. Unfortunately their homepage doesn't list the range of the rifle only the speed of the pellet. .177=1000 FPS and .22=750 FPS. You can try to contact them directly and ask customer service to give you an answer. The instruction manual says nothing about range.
BB guns are a poor choice for killing snakes or rodents. The BB do not deform when they strike and the rodent will suffer. Pellets are a much better choice to kill rodents. Yes the 750 will kill the snake but it may take more than one shot.
It's rated at 580 FPS.
You mean Air Rifle. Yes this is fine. Air rifles (Not AirSoft) usually fire between 500 FPS and 1200 FPS
