"Acrylic Plastic" could refer to any polymer derived from acrylic acid (CH2=CHCO2H) such as those from the acrylonitrile (CH2CHCN) or methyl methacrylate(CH2=C(CH3)COOCH3) monomers (among many others).

Some examples of plastic products that fall into this category are:

Plexiglas - used for tubular skylights in some homes and as a substitute for glass in a lot of residential aquariums

Lucite - another type of plastic windows

Fake fingernails

Dentures

Eyeglass lenses

Lenses for automobile lights

CD's and DVD's (for impact resistance - although there are other types of plastics that are also used)

Acrylate fiber, which is used to weave synthetic carpets

Polyhydroxyethylmethacrylate - sometimes used for contact lenses

Acrylic paints

Butyl acrylate - used for caulking

Superabsorbent polymer (SAP) used in disposable diapers

"superglue"

Pressure sensitive adhesives - like for Post-it notes

Also acrylic plastic is used in tanning beds as the transparent surface that separates the occupant from the tanning bulbs while tanning. (not sure if that qualifies as "household" - but some people do have in-home tanning beds)
