Jack Russells can live up to 15 years or older. No, Jack Russells are one of the longer living breeds, aging up to 17/18/19, sometimes even longer.
Usually above 13 years. I have a Jack Russell that is 14 years old and still going really well. They live longer that most dogs, for a small dog.
As with any pooch.... one that is well taken care of will live a happy life of 13-18 years of age.
Mostly small dogs live that long jack russells yorkies chihuauas small poodles etc
they typically dont die early... if well taken care of they should live to be 13-18 years of age.
I have never known a Jack Russell which has died before 12 human years, (apart from the ones who have died of illness). My mother's old Jack Russell lived to 22 human years, so they live to very old.
Only like MAD! Jack Russells are a very curious breed of dog, and they also grow very attached to their master, and therefore, live to protect it from any harm, so even if it hears the slightest sound, it will go nuts. My Jack Russell even barks when someone walks past my house, and has also scared away many postmans in her time by biting their hands when the deliever the post. It is mostly a good idea to keep Jack Russells in a quiet environment and a calm neighbourhood, otherwise they get very paranoid about anything, including unknown visitors to your home. Hope I Helped =)
They were originally bred to hunt foxes and rabbits so the like forests and woods. Because Jack Russells are the product of selective breeding by humans, they technically don't have a "natural habitat" as the Jack Russell did not exist as a breed in the wild at any point in time.
It varies with the breed of terrier. Jack Russells have been known to make 20yrs.
Jack Russells can live between 14 and 21 years
Sounds like a fun combination, goldies are wonderful dogs, very loyal, playful and gentle.
no they might chase them because of there high keen since of hunting but depends on the dog its self I have a pet rabbit and jack Russell bitch, they get along great my rabbit sleeps in dogs basket, when we take her out of her hutch, but i never leave them unsupervised as its in a jack russells nature to hunt.
