I am a Registered Nurse on a pediatric floor and I also have a 12 year old daughter. 80-93 pounds is a good weight for an 11 year old girl unless the girl is really tall for her age then she would need to weigh more. "Pudgy stomachs" will go away as the girl gets taller and also after the girl begins to menstrate. With a weight of 80-93 pounds the girl should not be dieting. She could get plenty of exercise and eat good foods like fruit for snacks and also stay away from sugared sodas and chips and snack cakes. Anyone wanting to be healthy should do those things. My daughter is 12 and she weighs 115 and wears a size 3 or 5 in juniors. She looks perfect to me!!

  • It depends on a lot of factors besides age, like height, activity level, frame size, etc. That's why it's best to ask your doctor if you're concerned about your weight - everyone is built differently. There is no one certain weight an 11 year old "should" be.
  • Weight is related to height and body composition rather than age. For in-depth information, and to view the height/weight charts for children and teenagers, see the page link, further down this page, listed under Related Questions. Alternatively, please feel free to ask the question again and include more detail.

It depends on the height. but i am 4'8" and weigh 161.6 and my doctor says i am a perfect weight. But at this point, it doesn't matter as you're still growing/developing.
