How can you log onto a computer if you forgot your password and its windows 7?

Press ALT+SHIFT+DELETE two times on the windows logon screen and then enter your username as administrator and password blank if you are using Windows XP

Use ERD Commander disk to reset your windows password. I have tried several of times and it works perfectly :-)

You may reset your password for Windows 7 using several methods. If your computer has joined a domain, you can reset the password from the domain controller (requires a Network Administrator to do this for you).If you have created a password reset disk, you may use that to log in and keep your encrypted files.

Otherwise, ifyou cannot remember your normal password, and you have a default Windows 7 installation, the Administrator account may be unlocked. if you have a password recovery disk that you should have made you can reset your password by clicking reset password with the disk in. If you don't have one you will have to take it somewhere to get formatted

If you forget your password on windows 7, you are pretty much stuck. The only way to recover your password is if you have a password hint or a password recovery disk otherwise you would have to log in to any other administrator account on your computer. But if you don't have any of the above available to you, you will have to reinstall your windows 7. This will result in all data being wiped off the computer. The only other option you have to keep your data is by taking out the hard drive and putting all the data on to another computer.
