Rhabdomyosarcoma can be caused by other things (crush injuries, for example), but is often caused by excessive physical exertion.

When exercising, don't do too much too soon. Drink plenty of fluids. Ease into new exercise routines. Learn how hard you can safely push yourself and how much is too much for you. Also, learn when you need to take a day or two off from training.
