Scientists consider now that «Dark Galaxies» may had played a major role in stellar galaxies formation during the early Universe expansion, feeding neighboring galaxies with precious gas required to give birth to the first stars.
Yes.There are many other galaxies in space.The one we live in is called the milky way.There are over 500000 galaxies in space, and our milky way galaxy is one of the smallest.Pretty amazing how big space is.I feal very negligible. :(

yes. we have allready discovered hundreds. and not just in other galexys, there are plenty in the galexy we live in, the Milky Way.

Our telescopes are barely able to distinguish the brightest individual stars in other galaxies - there is no way to identify which stars would have planets from that tremendous distance away. However, within our own Milky Way galaxy, and even with our limited technology so far, we have been able to identify 400 or more planets circling nearby stars, and there is sufficient evidence of 700 more that are good candidates for closer and more detailed observation. It may be that many or even most other stars will have planetary systems.
So based on no actual knowledge, we can state definitely that SOME stars in other galaxies PROBABLY have planetary systems.
