I don't know if I should answer this, but antifreeze or regular engine oil would do the trick. But it won't happen right away it will take between 500- 1000 miles
Change the oil
I assume it is the same for my 96 Impreza, but when I changed mine, I poured it in where the transmission dipstick was through a funnel
Best & easiest way to destroy a transmission- atuomatic or manual
You need to get the trans fluid changed immediatley
go to a mechanic immediately
This happened to me last week because all of my transmission fluid poured out.
Transmission fluid can be poured through the engine compartment on a Honda Accord. There is a dipstick and reservoir where the fluid can safely be placed.
It depends on the car...if it is an automatic you pour it in the dipstick tube where you check the level...it the car is a manual there is usually a fill plug on the side of the transmission.
Yes. It will destroy the seals.
It might, but the torque from the LS1 will destroy that transmission.
Put it into reverse when moving rapidly forward.
Drain out the transmission fluid and replace with the correct fluid. Some types of transmission fluid are incompatible with other types of tranmssion fluid or with the transmission itself, and can destroy your transmission.
