Your charge would be possesion. It does not matter whether it be your first offense of your third, you still have marijuana present. If you are polite and nice to the cops and such, than your charges will prob be dropped.
if you live in the states it would be way worse than in Canada. you would definetly get charged with possesion in US but its about 50/50 in Canada.
I actually got cought with 3 grams and a scale about a month ago, i went to court and i have to complete a marijuana education program and then the charges will be dropped, but i do live in California, which is pretty leanient on the issue of marijuana in general, anyways gl in court man, don't stress about it, its honestly not a big deal, even if the charges do stick, its only a misdeamor
I live in New York and know you usually get charged with UPM (Unlawful Possession Of Marijuana) Which is not even a misdemeanor so a fine or ACOD is what you might get.

Since its you're first offence as long as you explain that you are sincerely sorry and don't want a record usually you will be able to get away with a fine or diversion program, which might be some concelling or community service that sort of deal.
