If you can get your vehicle started you can then un hook the battery while it is running and if your vehicle stays running then your alternator is good. If it stalls and dies as soon as you unhook the battery then the alternator is not good.If you can get your vehicle started you can then un hook the battery while it is running and if your vehicle stays running then your alternator is good. The light comes on when the car stalls because the engine is not running and the pump therefore is not pumping. The pressure will always be 0 when the engine stalls and the light is directly related to pressure. This is normal, you have no problem, other than the engine stalling.
First what motor is in the van? Than tell me what it does before it stalls or you put it in gear. There many different possiables that it could be.
change your gas filter
pull the fuel pump fuse and run the car until it stalls.
You have to change the mass flow sensor
The same way you started it
Check the fuel filter. If it is the original, change it. If that doesn't help, find a mechanic.
