It probley has an AIR pocket in the cooling system. Bleed the air out of the system and make sure it is full of fluid.

Check coolant level Cooling fan working? Dirt or clogged radiator? Defective radiator cap?
The top radiator hose is above the thermostat. If the top radiator hose is hot, the thermostat is opening. The thermostat is not the problem. Perhaps the radiator is clogged up or the water pump is bad. Look elsewhere.
follow the top radiator hose to the engine. its under the cover.
a couple of reasons you could be in need of a antifreeze change or you could have a bad thermostat which is located on the radiator hose going into the intake manifold. you could also use a more premium gas which does not burn as hot as regular.
This may seem silly at first but, follow the upper radiator hose it's terminal end. There you will find your thermostat. Hope this helps. Sean
The thermostat is located on the driver's side of the engine. The thermostat and thermostat housing is mounted on the lower intake manifold. You should be able to follow the radiator hose up to the housing. It is a little hard to see however. Mike
No. If the A/C is not working there is a problem related to the A/C system. A thermostat is in the cooling system and if its not working properly the vehicle can overheat or not get warm enough to give you heat inside the vehicle.
On the engine end of the upper rad hose. When replacing it make sute the spring goes toward the engine.
more than likely an air lock on your water system it will need bleeding to release the air lock if that fails try replacing the thermostat
Usually in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose. Yes, it is located in a housing under the throttle body.
