I would use Armour All Wheel cleaner with shop cloths and soft bristled brush. Wash and rinse one wheel at a time and dry before going onto the next wheel.
There are a variety of rags, mitts, brushes and sponges available for cleaning your tire rims. For chrome tire rims, which are flashy-looking but not as sturdy as alloys, use a soft sponge, and avoid using scouring pads and brushes with hard bristles. Apply a mild detergent to your sponge or brush.
Rims are wheels. Your tire goes on them.
I like to use WESTLEYS BLEACH WHITE it is strong and safe on wheels and tires. I you. Msrk
As long as the tire is made for 18 inch rims, it would mount like any other tire.As long as the tire is made for 18 inch rims, it would mount like any other tire.
If you want to replace the current tires on your vehicle with a 17 inch tire you will have to have the proper rims for that tire. If you currently have rims for a 17 inch tire then you would not have to replace them but if your tire rims are smaller or larger then they would have to be replaced.
If you do not have a tire your rims will be damaged and the some with what the wheel. The weight of the car is so heavy it would crush the wheel and the rims.
Nothing will happen if you change the tire size along with the rims so you end up with a wheel/tire combination that is close to the overall diameter of the OEM tire/wheel that came on the car. Any tire shop can help you choose the correct size tire for the 15" rims.
It depends what you are looking for out of your tire rims, cast rims will be more robust and better for off-roading and general wear and tear but will not provide the same long lasting gleam as a cast tire rim.

Chrome plated tire rims can rust over time but look great when they are brand new.
I have 16" rims on my 1998 Chevy s10. The current tire is 255 50R16. I would like to go with a larger diameter tire on these rims without limiting the turn radius. What would is the largest tire size that would work?
One can purchase used tire rims from a local business or via the Internet. Local businesses that might have used tire rims would be those that sell used car parts, tire stores, or salvage yards. Auction sites and sites that list items for sale, such as Craigslist, might also have used tire rims available for purchase.
