To remove spyware you would want to use something like Spybot. It is freeware that you can download from many sites.
If you have a virus then you will need an anti-virus program like AVG.
Download AVG and run a full scan. Google whatever virus name comes up and both McAfee and Symantec will have their own way to remove it for free.
