Hook it up correctly and see if everything is ok.
2002-2006,hook cable to battery posts and turn charger on. 2007-2009, hook cables to jump start posts under the hood and turn charger on.

Take it to the Mazda dealership they can hook up a scantool and disable it.
Hook positive up first, negative last.
Find your battery. Remove the negative post first. Then positive. Install new battery. Hook up positive post first, then negative. VROOM!

hook it directly to your battery with a inline fuse and see if it works
Disconnect the battery for about an hour, then hook it back up. If it comes back on, something is wrong.
un hook the negative battery cable and hold your foot on the break for 30 secons and it will reset your computer
your battery may be dead or try unhooking your battery for 1 hour then hook back up and try again
You only have one battery, it is in the trunk. The jump start posts under the hood on the passenger side are the proper place to hook to.
