What can happen if a volcano erupts?

you wouldn't be alive to see it as the deadly gas rising from it would kill you before it went bang. even if you did mangage to live till the bang you wouldn't see much becuz of all the smoke. it would be like you in AA house fire while an earth quake was happening. but what would be happening is that the molten rock is melting under pressure and it tips over the sides as the pressure is an uprising force

For an example i am gonna use the Yellowstone Volcano. If that erupts there will be ash everywhere. Lava spews out of the volcano and goes in the air then hardens and comes down as big rocks. The sizes of the rocks varies between a small ball to a house. There could be years without grains and other plant life. The aftermath would be a whole bunch of earthquakes because of the magma pushing the ground. The ash will contaminate rivers, lakes, oceans, making water harder to obtain. The ash will destroy a lining of your lung causing death. For Yellowstone Volcano, if that erupts, temperatures will drop 10 degrees Celsius.
