The EGR valve is located on the top of the 1985 Mustang engine. The EGR valve is mounted right behind the carburetor.
The egr valve is located on the top of the engine on the right hand side
dont even bother trying to clean egr just buy a replacement they are cheap
The EGR is located on the passenger side of the engine up towards the front, underneathe the airbox. Remove the airbox. Locate the EGR, you can do this buy purchasing a new EGR for 40-80 dollars. Looking at it, then finding the same part on your enginge. After taking the airbox off and out of the way. Remove the EGR, it comes out with two bolts. Dont forget to replace the gasket. Replace, reconnect the electrical, and have your codes cleared ( check engine light will go away when you do this). :)
tell me where is the egr valve located please the egr valve is usually located on the top right of the intake manifold on top of the engine so if your facing the engine, look down to your right
Some vehicles dont have EGR Valve... I have a 90 Caravan, same engine as yours, basically the same thing as what you have and it has the EGR valve, then again, same engine in my 92 Dodge Spirit and it has no EGR Valve... the EGR is just mainly an emissions thing to help keep down on air polution. If yours did have the EGR Valve, they are really easy to spot, its on the left of the throttle body and the EGR Valve even says EGR right on top of it, so if you do have the valve you will know it very easily with or without any book or diagrams.
if you have a 2.2,most 99's dont have a egr valve, changed to a different to a different emission system in 99
nope nada dont hava one nope nada dont hava one
