Haemorrhage can occur however surgeons take steps to prevent this from happening.
We use Tru-cut in surgery. (I'm a P.A.)
Unless you have an open cut inside your ear or an infection, the only thing that will happen is your ear will smell good.
You have to be bitten (and not killed) by one. The best way to make that happen is to go to parties full of them, and accidentally cut your finger.
You could end up with uneven slices, which sometimes look visually unappealing in dishes. Alternatively, you can accidentally cut yourself.
Yes, a nerve that is cut during surgery will eventually heal.
The liver is a large organ in the right upper part of the abdomen. When people have severe trauma to the abdomen it can rip (the laceration) and cause life threatening bleeding (or bleeding that is not bad - it varies). If the bleeding if felt to be serious the treatment is to do surgery and repair it.
this is very rare..but, just talk with your doctor on the chances
not if its an accident
it can be removed not cut
At one time chopped liver was a cheap cut of meat, while steak was an expensive cut of meat. So, asking 'what am I chopped liver' is a way asking if they think you have any value.
"I accidentally cut myself with the 'blade' of a knife."
The term "open heart surgery" is really used incorrectly. We use it to mean a surgery where the chest is cut open to get the heart. A "bypass surgery" is where they cut open your chest and reroute the large blood vessels (arteries) on the outside of the heart. We do wrongfully call Bypass Surgery a type of Open Heart Surgery. But I would call a real "open heart surgery" where they cut open the chest and then cut open the heart to work inside the heart, like replace valves.
