I know from personal experience, that being dragged from house to house, hearing one parent talk about the other behind their back, watching your mom cry because she doesn't understand why he is gone, dragging the kids back and forth to court and fighting for custody is an awful thing to go through. Even if they don't show it, they are being affected inside.
